The newly constructed Saint Thomas Moore Catholic church was designed with a balance of modern and traditional architectureal elements. Early in the design stages, acoustical engineers for the project recognized the need for an acoustical treatment. SondaSpray "fc" was chosen for it's high NRC values (0.90 at 1") and because it would not draw attention away from the focal elements like the stained glass windows or the black marble and granite Baptismal. Special attention was also given to the detail work of the SonaSpray "fc" so that is would be complimentary to the other elements and not detract from the aesthetics of the arched ceiling. Made from recycled cellulose fibers, SonaSpray "fc" is a completely safe and non-toxic material. Additionally, SonaSpray "fc" is highly flame resistant and does not contribute to mold growth. SonaSpray "fc" is certified as a "green" product by the USGBC. |
